Music

Music education can improve cognitive and non-cognitive skills. Also, provides a variety of activities including singing, playing instruments, recorders, listening, composing, games, movement and much more. Every grade performances at least once a year, so keep an eye on announcements to find out when!

Art

Arts experiences boost critical thinking, teaching students to take the time to be more careful and thorough in how they observe the world. The arts provide challenges for learners at all levels. Art education connects students with their own culture as well as with the wider world.

PE

Physical activity is an important part of education.  PE teaches physical skills and provides knowledge such as game rules and how exercise improves health. PE can help students enjoy and have a good attitude about being active, also is a starting point for creating healthy, life-long physical activity habits.

Library 

Washington Center's media center provides access to materials in many formats. They help increase students' interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas.  Our media center is a great place to discover new hobbies.
